Who We Are
Born out of tears, ashes, and faith.
Karabati Mission Care Africa was founded in the wake of crisis to rescue orphans, protect widows, and restore broken families who had nowhere else to turn. Guided by Christ's compassion, our mission is to provide shelter, education, and spiritual empowerment. We envision a future where no one is left behind—where every vulnerable life is embraced with dignity and given the opportunity to discover their God-given potential.

Our Story
Karabati Mission Care Africa was born out of tears, ashes, and faith.
In 2007, Kenya was torn apart by post-election violence. Families in the tea plantations were slaughtered; homes were set ablaze, leaving parents and children consumed by fire. In one night, countless children became orphans, staring at a world that had stolen their safety and love.
As the HIV/AIDS pandemic spread, more families collapsed under its weight. Mothers and fathers were taken, leaving behind total orphans with no one to care for them. Many of these children ran into the streets, searching for food, shelter, and hope, only to find hunger and rejection.
The suffering did not end there. Land disputes robbed children of their inheritance, chasing them from the only homes they had ever known. With nowhere to go, they joined the growing number of street children, vulnerable to abuse, exploitation, and despair.
And in the shadows of this brokenness, young girls faced unspeakable pain. Defiled, raped, and stripped of their innocence, they carried wounds no child should ever bear. Their cries echoed in silence, their dignity stolen, their futures shattered. Yet even in their brokenness, we saw the face of Christ calling us to act.
It was in this darkness that Karabati Mission Care Africa was born. We could not stand by as children cried themselves to sleep on empty stomachs, as widows wept with no one to comfort them, as young girls carried scars of sexual abuse, and as families crumbled under grief. We chose to be the hands and heart of Christ offering shelter, food, education, love, and protection to those the world had forgotten.
Every child we embrace carries a story of pain, but also a spark of hope. Every widow we support reminds us that God’s love restores broken hearts. Every girl we protect testifies that dignity can be restored, and every community we serve proves that light can shine even in the deepest night.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
(Psalm 34:18)
